Very clean, value for money and facilities were excellent (had clean utensils, a good microwave, dishwashing detergent).
Good space, Excellent bed, heating/AC, close to Balboa Park and downtown.
My stay here was great. Room was spacious and bed was super comfortable. Staff was responsive, though I didn't really need much since everything was as expected...only needed a change of towels since I was here for a week.
Location is is very convenient. Balboa Park is across the street, Petco Park (Padres) and Gas Lamp District is a straight walk down 6th Ave, Little Italy is a short walk and only a few blocks away. Even public transit is convenient (No. 2 and 3 buses one block over).
And of course, the price is amazing especially considering the location and SD prices.
Flight pattern for SAN airport is a nearby but you really don't hear the planes. Not disruptive at all.
The bed was so comfortable! One of the best beds I've ever been in! I loved the shower as well!
Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, good sized fridge and freezer for keeping some food and drinks in the room. Walkable to lots of great places. My 72 year old dad and I walked to the waterfront/USS Midway Museum, to Balboa Park, etc. Ubers to or from other locations were quick and cheap.
