If you are a person who requires that everything is new and fresh, you probably should stay elsewhere. If you are someone who loves old buildings with character and charm, you will be very happy here. So absolutely cute and comfortable. I took my coffee out on the front porch every morning and watched the neighborhood wake up. The four of us sat in the nicely decorated living room to chat. Love the many windows and the general feel of the place. Know that this is a large old home converted into apartments, so if there are noisy people in unit #2, you're going to need the provided white noise machine and earplugs, but that's not something the host can control. We really enjoyed our stay.
I liked the proximity to Rhodes and the charm of an old house. It had plenty of room.
The location was perfect for us and the peacefulness of the property.
There were a couple of places we could walk to for dinner. It is a renovated older home, which we love. There were bird nests above the front door, which tells me a lot of good things about the owner.
Location, size, amenities, parking. It was great! Everything is just a few minutes away. Grocery stores, restaurants, museums. Farthest I drove to a museum was 13 minutes. The property is spacious. We were snowed in for 24 hrs due to a winter storm & had the best time seeing the snow fall while watching tv and making food in the kitchen. Beats staying at a hotel 1000%.
