First time in a hostel (I'm a little older than the target demographic) but it seemed really cozy. And, the "Captain's Quarters" (private queen bed room) was perfect. Half price from any nearby hotel, and twice as comfy. Place was super quiet, and there was good coffee in the morning - perfect experience. And, if you were going to stay longer than just one night, there were a lot of great areas to just "hang out" including a TV room, full kitchen and all sorts of outdoor nooks with games all over the place
Even though it was a “full house” that night. It was very laid back and relaxing. Everybody was respectful, no awkwardness from anybody about shared spaces. It was just an awesome experience.
Location, location location the Whitaker neighborhood is a unique and wonderful place to stay.
Everyone is so nice and it’s fun. We played music with the instruments!
I liked that the hostel was in a neighborhood. Also close to a store and local restaurants. It was quiet for the most part. Also everything was in walking distance.
