It was great to sit on the porch and watch the water and read. Lots to do. Kayaking, swimming, shuffleboard, etc. I loved the historic feel of the place. Great for families or groups. It takes you to a bygone era.
Beautiful property overlooking a lovely private beach. We really enjoyed sitting on the huge porch and relaxing. Lovely property, amazing location, and lovely staff.
The location was wonderful, beautiful grounds on the lakeshore. Some reviewers disliked the age of the hotel and the inherent quirks of old buildings. My husband and I loved it. Sitting on the big porch overlooking the lake, enjoying the breeze, reading - great way to spend a day.
