Location, linens, furnishings, amenities all top notch! Walked to see sunrise and a delicious breakfast next door. Beautiful views.
Lots of perfect small touches. This is a special location in one of my favorite places near the beach. Everything was just right. Easy in and out and largest easy parking spot. All the necessary amenities for being able to make meals. The bed was very comfortable and I was able to stream my own videos from my phone. The decor was well done. I didn't use the washer/dryer but this would be great for longer stays.
Great location! We only stayed one night. Unfortunately we went to the Richardson Market in Portsmouth for wine. It was dark when we arrived and didn’t see the parking pay sign. We were in the store for 5 mins. Noticed the sign, saw the parking officer walk away and $35 later a parking ticket. To me that’s true of inhospitality by the city when we paid 3 times for food in a small market to help their economy in the off season.
The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed
New England is a special place, especially when the seasons change. Great Island Inn is the perfect Hotel in the perfect location. The Quintessential getaway.
