Located in Island Park, within 22 miles of Yellowstone Historic Center Museum and 22 miles of National Geographic IMAX Theater, GetAways at Timbers at Island Park Village provides accommodations with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Clean accommodations in Island Park, Idaho roughly 20 minutes from Yellowstone National Park. Condo facilities with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining and sitting areas.
Absolutely loved this apartment. It was spacious, clean, super comfortable bed and the mountain views from the balcony.... Just spectacular. The kitchen is great and I felt so at home here. The people in Island Park are amazing, the locals are welcoming and friendly which made me feel so at home. Combined with this amazing apartment, it made me sad I had to leave this house because to me it felt like home. Great value for your money. And they have a pool! Also there's a grocery store just down the road which is great. The drive to Yellowstone is perfect as well. It only takes about 20 minutes. Will definitely be back here!
Only booked here because West Yellowstone was too expensive for our 3 days in Yellowstone NP. And I'm so glad it was, because we would have completely missed out on this incredible place. I have no idea why this was cheaper than a nondescript motel in West Yellowstone, because now I've seen it I realise what we paid was a bargain.
The lodge is a whole apartment, with fully equipped kitchen, balcony, sofa, 2x TVs, fire place etc. Onsite there is a swimming pool and sauna but we didn't use these.
Within walking distance there's a place to grab a buffet breakie, and a supermarket. There's a couple of restaurants and an amazing ice cream parlour a short drive away.
To be honest it was a little shame that we left early and returned late from the NP each day, because I would have loved to have spent more time at the lodge now I've seen how amazing it is.
If you stay here you won't regret it.
It was a great place to stay, we liked the pool facilities and apartment too. Also the distance to Yellowstone was okay.
We got very special support from Angy and Britney, they helped us to get new tires for our motorbike
That was a great effort. Angy even activated her personal network to make it happen,
She made the difference to have that excellent experience, Greg the mechanic changed the tires and we were ready to continue our tour back to Vancouver. We are from Holland and it is not easy for us to come back, we will recommend this place to all our friends.
