The times we stayed here before were the Fall & Winter, so the restaurant was always open. We didn't know they were only open 4 days a week in the summer, so breakfast was delayed until we were 40 miles north. But we love the town of Chloride & will be visiting again.
We drove from Atlanta, Ga. Great Location, such nostalgia, rustic, and taking you back to the 1860's. Close to the Grand Canyon West Rim/Skywalk and Hoover Dam, Great bike riding to the Roy Purcell Murals, and all over. Just a down home nice place with great Host; Dean and Donna. We met many wonderful people in this small mining city. Just a awesome two days. Just blew me away! I will bring my daugthers back next time.
They refurbished the old motel, which gave it that Route 66 vibe. There were a few areas that still needed some TLC, but otherwise, it was great. Meals in the restaurant next door were excellent.
The staff are extremely welcoming. It is a quaint charming please. At first we arrived at night and and was not too clear of if we arrived in the right place as it looks like a local area. But my children and I were quite touched by the people's kindness. They offered us complementary drinks and small snacks in the room for the kids
Off the beaten path, ghost town style village. Beautiful views. Very friendly staff. The room, that was very clean, was ready and waiting for us. Fantastic Breakfast available at hotel restaurant in and older saloon style hall.
