Great location, just off the main road, with plenty of free parking. Reception staff friendly, and able to recommend places to eat and what to see - you must visit the Museum of the Gulf Coast: who knew so many notable people came from this area, and the music hall in particular was amazing.
Breakfast was good - plenty of choice, and options changed day by day (we stayed two nights). Waffle iron for making your own waffles was nice.
Elevator out of service, had to use the staircase and use my knee brace to access my room on the 2nd floor.
Food selection was quite good - especially having potatoes, eggs and a meat selection each morning plus wonderful juices, especially the orange juice. There was real oatmeal (not instant) which was very good, plus other items to eat. Coffee was hot, along with two blends of milk. All in all, one of the best breakfast meals we've ever encountered while traveling. The room, for the most part, was wonderful and very comfortable. Loved having a small frig and microwave.
Great location. Was able to get a good nights sleep. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Served it’s purpose and would return.
