The location is awesome, short walk to waterfront. And a lot of restaurants nearby including the Germany beer garden.
Location was great. Right off King Street. Beautiful hotel, very clean, nice bathroom and shower. Beds were comfortable and I loved the pillows. I meant to look at them in the morning and see what pillows they were.
The staff in the morning were super friendly and helpful.
Very friendly staff. We had a last minute booking due to a cancelled flight and the staff were very accomodating. I can't remember the name of the lady that checked us in but she was awesome. So helpful!
Amy at the bar was a great host, very friendly and welcoming.
Hotel beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. Very happy with our stay and would definitely book again.
The hotel is located in Old Town Alexandria. Extremely walkable a couple of blocks from the Potomac and King Street. Only issue I had was there's only street parking which can be a hassle. However, they do offer valet but my Ford F250 wouldn't fit in the garage so I was allowed to park out front of the hotel which was super awesome. Staff was amazing, facility was very clean and the room was well appointed. Very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend the Hotel Heron
We stayed in the George Washington building. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Perfect location downtown.
