Very easy to get to for someone new to the area. Hotel was clean and with fun industrial decor reflective of the site's historic past, which helped distinguish it from other chain hotels. Room was very modern, comfortable and clean, and felt more expensive than what we paid for it. Pros on location: close to CMU, 10 minute walk across historic "hot metal bridge" led to area on the other side of the river with many restaurants and entertainment. Check-in staff were great.

It seemed the property was only 10 minutes for everything we did. The hotel was very pet friendly. The parking lot was nice and reasonably priced. We liked the made to order breakfast each morning (buffets waste so much food). The room was spacious and the bathroom very nice. The lighting was so dim. They need to put brighter light bulbs in the bedside lamp and add another light somewhere. The black ceiling is moody and I could see it was concrete - maybe that counts towards the scarcity of overhead lighting. But still overall it was an A for us.

All the staff was extremely nice. The room was very spacious, clean and super comfortable beds. And the location of the hotel was very close to University of Pittsburgh and that was great as I was staying at the hotel for my sister's graduation! : )
