A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel «Hotel Regent» is located in Rome. This hotel is located in 4 km from the city center. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Carlo Bilotti Museum, MAXXI and Villa Borghese Gardens.
At the hotel
You can stop by the bar. Taste the local cuisine and have a rest in the restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available on the territory. Ask for more information when checking in. Pets are welcome here.
Accessible for guests with disabilities: the elevator helps them to go to the highest floors. There are other services available for the guests of the hotel. The stuff was very friendly. The breakfast was good.
Firstly, the location was problematic, because there is a train staion (urban train) but the timetable was problem and to transfer the metro line was difficult.
Our room was out of fashion, without blankets, without table, without chairs, without any paintings (only three beds and two small bedside tables). The bathroom was terrible. I paid about 45 euro from June 2019 but I must pay 6 euro/per person for one night at the hotel (as city taxes) for this room! It wasn't value for money.
Thirdly, it was too noisy, because the windows didn't close safetly and they were out of fashion (old aluminium).
Finally, the heater and thermostat (airconditioning system) didn't work correct (heater made too musch noise and the last day didn't work).
It was the worst hotel I have visited on my vacations!

Отель расположен в хорошем районе, в шаговой доступности от метро. Обильные завтраки.
Если вечером захотелось чай в номере, то в баре можно взять кипяток. Очень красивые номера, хоть и немного «уставшие».
Завтраки неплохие.
Кондиционер в номере работал только от управления с компьютера ресепшен! Чтобы включить/выключить кондей, нам приходилось бегать вниз, и просить об этом. Пульт управления в номере просто не реагировал. В ванной на полу после уборки постоянно оставались чьи-то волосы. Полотенца были в пятнах.
Отдыхали семьей из трёх человек,номер на 8 этаже,окна на дорогу.Попросили во двор,чтоб не так шумно,но оказалось что трехместные номера только на эту сторону.Было жарковато,кондиционер не работал,ещё не лето нам сказали (центральное )спали с открытым окном,шумно.Номера небольшие,сантехника исправна,уборка на троечку.
Что понравилось:неплохие завтраки(много выпечки,омлет,бекон,нарезки,йогурты,фрукты,салаты).Удобное расположение:одна остановка на региональной электричке от станции “Euclide”до Фламинио,там же метро,Ещё если из отеля повернуть налево и обогнуть здание через две минуты будет остановка автобусов(910 идёт до вокзала Термини)с чемоданами очень удобно ,чтоб не тащить по ступенькам метро.Рядом с отелем магазин Carefour express,цены такие же,как и в больших супермаркетах этой сети.Также налево от отеля небольшая пиццерия.(очень рекомендую пиццерию Эль Арчетто,недалёко от Ватикана ,пиццу готовят в настоящей печи на дровах,посмотрите в гугле в Риме несколько таких пиццерий,здесь очень понравилось быстрое обслуживание ,пицца от 4-10 евро и огромный выбор)
Об уборке в номере пришлось напоминать персоналу.Таблички об уборке не вешайте на ручку,они переворачивают на «Не беспокоить»,и не убирают.Кодиционером нельзя управлять,было жарко и на просьбу снизить температуру в номере, предложили открыть окно.Завышена звёздность отеля реально не более 3*,ставят 4*,чтобы снимать с постояльцев повышенный городской налог-6€ в сутки с человека.
