Perfect spot to walk to restaurants, shopping, and to the water.
This is a very old hotel but has a lot of character that gives it more authenticity. Location is great to the downtown part of Seward near the Sealife center and that area. Staff was accommodating and overall we enjoyed our stay. Definitely a little more authentic character than most hotels.
It was quaint and we'll positioned to other things in town.
I discovered that a restaurant highly recommended by a friend was located on the same street just two properties down from the hotel. How convenient! We could wait in our room or the lobby until our table was ready. I also enjoyed the hotel restaurant - good food, bar, and great service. Front desk staff were extremely helpful.
We stayed on the more economical side of the hotel (historic) ... there's a sink in the room, but for our room, the bathrooms (2) was across the hall. Both were very nice and clean. Has a TV.
