I had asked for a room on the second or 1st floor because I have arthritis in my knees and was accommodated to a nice room and everything worked as it should. HVAC was nice and warm. Microwaves in every room. For those of you who don't know, most of the hotels are doing away with them for safety risks and the rising cost of electricity in SD. HoJo's has become my favorite stay in Mission Valley and is always a pleasure to stay in. Easy access for food and the mission valley library is a short drive. Plenty of shopping choices and free parking.
The rooms are large, bright, and colorful. TV was 40"screen and ac/heat worked great. The location is central Mission Valley and has access to every option for entertainment. Sea World, Shopping, SDState, Airport and downtown all a quick drive from the hotel from the "8"
Prebooked for days in advanced. By the Owner Latisha N Dismond 087 1978 the Supermomof5 DOD. But the prices went up way to much for this location rooms are reg $75-80 per night nothing ever over $100 even on the weekend's. The rate went up to $279 per night so we left for the remainder of days needed for this early Vacation.
Great location and close to food and retail shopping of all kinds. The rooms are spacious, colorful, and bright. Good lighting and the beds and pillows are the best I've slept on. Slept like a rock every night. Tv's perfect size for any viewing and plenty of parking all around the building.
Howard Johnson hotel clean comfortable and very convenient. The staff very professional friendly sociable. I really enjoyed my stay I enjoy the basics. Thanks alot Howard Johnson hotel and staff.
