Perfect for a couple. Comfortable bed and pillows. Heated floors so always had warm feet as we were there during a rainy week in early December. Great location for hiking nearby rain forests. Got to meet the owner as he wanted to familiarize us with the apartment. We highly recommend this property.

The owners were very inviting and welcoming at Refuge Cove. Access to the facility was a breeze as well, and location of airbnb offered a waterfront view with the vast mountains in clear view. We had all around a great experience visiting Ketchikan and met a lot of really great people that we hope to see again when we come back!! The location was perfect and better than we anticipated, and it was extremely close to the quaint little town of Ketchikan. In town itself we found our favorite bars to be Artic bar & Sourdough. Our favorite food places were New York Cafe. They had the BEST chowder I've ever had. We also enjoyed an amazing dinner at Bush Pilot Lounge. For cheap and amazing coffee please do yourself a favor and check out The Green Coffee Bean Company. Our experience was memorable, and the hospitality of the locals is something we won't forget.

The property exceeded my expectations. My friend and I were there to fish and it had more than everything we needed - kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator and freezer, coffee maker, stove, utensils, etc..The property owner Jason was an invaluable source of information and his hospitality exceeded normal expectations. So Jason, thanks to you and your family for helping make our week stay something we'll always remember.

The place was quiet and near the water. It was just cozy for two people. It was very close to everything-downtown, shopping and fishing.
