This hotel is a gem. I love its traditional style rather than a modern basic style like every other hotel. That gave it a more unique experience for me. The staff was wonderful, but I want to give extra kudos to the lady at the front desk that works the afternoon/evening shift. I loved her personality, and she was always helpful and nice.
I also love the location of this place. It feels so remote, yet it's so close to downtown and to Buttermilk Falls State Park. Our room also had an amazing view, especially during sunset. The room was comfortable and the beds, especially the pillows, were amazing. The bathroom was the biggest hotel bathroom I've ever seen and it felt luxurious. Everything was clean and cozy.
I wish I had time to stay longer so I could have had time to check out the spa. If I'm ever back in this area, I will be staying here again.
Comfortable bed. Free coffee. Clean facilities. I’ve stayed here before under the previous owners. The property received a stylish update but still has its former charm
