This hotel is located very near Guy Metro but it is an uphill climb. Fortunately the 66, 165 and the 166 buses pass right by the door. This place is very nice and clean and we had no problems. It has some terrible reviews but I think it is the lack of employees that you have to get your head around. It operates more like an Air B&B than anything else. There is literally no one running it most of the time. We got there about 2 pm for the 3pm check-in but had no numbers to use on the keypad. Fortunately, a very pleasant woman named Candace was there and she opened the door. She told us that we should have had an email from the company providing the numbers for the main door and our room door. We never got the email and I can see there is great potential for screwups, esp. in the case of late arrivals. It’s probably crucial to get there mid-afternoon for this to work. We had a great stay at this hotel- they have lots of towels, cosmetics, a hair dryer and a fridge. But it is quirky. If you needed anything, I don’t know how you could communicate with a human being- this hotel seems to be trying to downsize employees without providing robots! Overall our stay was just fine, and these complaints were very minor: They provide a Kuerig coffee machine in the room but no coffee pods, tea, or sugar or milk. They provide a very nice TV but no cable service. I think you maybe could operate it if you had an Android phone, but I don’t know how. We did manage to watch a little Youtube on it. They offer breakfast options (and even a cooked one!) but all I saw on a table in the hall was a couple of bags of very poor mini croissants, some candy, and a box of corn flakes. No dishes, utensils, coffee, tea, milk, sugar, butter, jam, and on and on. They should forget about breakfast entirely. It just antagonizes people to be offered such poor fare.
