We liked the quiet surroundings, beauty of the river, trees, birds, lawns. The cottage itself was well stocked with essentials and more. The vintage decor was fun to peruse, yet every convenience was provided. One large room contained kitchen, dining, sleeping, entertainment areas, even books and a rocking chair. The claw foot cast iron bathtub (with showerhead) felt luxurious; the deck is like an outdoor living room with gas grill, chairs and tables.. Mini-split heating and cooling system provides excellent temperature control inside. We enjoyed our time there and plan to return.
