It was a good experience and we relived a place where we stayed one night on our honeymoon and an eventual trip to New Orleans.
It is such a charming and friendly hotel! It was like stepping back in time. The courtyard is beautiful and the gentleman that checked us in was wonderful! I look forward to coming back when I can spend some more time!
Kathy at the front desk welcomed us with open arms and was extremely helpful with directions and places to go!!
Location was perfect - one block off Government St (US Hwy 90). Front desk (Tracy) welcomed us with a warm greeting, and when asked about the property was able.to give us an historical account. Room was nostalgic with modern amenities and the bed was amazing!! Will definitely be back since all rooms are outfitted differently.
Everything about the Malaga Inn was a superb experience. From the historic rooms with balconies to the French Quarter courtyard with a tinkling fountain and kumquat tree. Kathy was an excellent and caring general manager. And her hospitality is one of many reasons we will return for another visit very soon again!!
