The place was beautiful. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They paid attention to any inconveniences that could occur and proactively solved them.
Very nice historical building, great restaurants, super nice staff, rooms are remodelled and comfortable!
It is great to see classic old hotels in New York State being brought back to glory. The old Hotel Syracuse, now the Marriott Syracuse Downtown, is a great example (along with hotels in Albany, Buffalo, and Utica), While this renaissance was the primary reason we loved the hotel, everything about out stay was fine. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We only used the restaurant for breakfast, but that was pleasant.
