Private room, comfortable bed. The wifi is good. Great food just around the corner in either direction. The linens seemed clean, but the towels were stained. No toilet paper in any of the restrooms (which are shared) for the first 24 hours. Bring shower shoes if you plan to shower. No desk in the room, or apparently any seating anywhere. When I arrived, there was a gas leak being attended to in the kitchen, and it smelled like gas in the kitchen the next day as well. The doors all slam constantly because they close automatically - this is very disruptive if for example, 4 people check into the room next door at 2am and then all individually use the bathroom over the next hour. Obviously the whole circuit was repeated in the morning.

Staff were friendlier than I expected. The location was perfect near my niece's apartment and Columbia and not far to subway and Central Park. Also the room was larger than I expected. As it is an older building the room wasn't perfect but I could overlook that for the price and location. I was over all pleased.
