Wanted to see the Eiffel tower and veteran memorial
This location is not fancy, but it is very well-kept, up-to-date, and very clean. The front desk was also helpful. Upon discovering I had booked a smoking room, they readily accommodated my request to be moved to a non-smoking room. Also, being an older hotel that was built without a dining area, they have turned a first-level guest room into a fairly nice breakfast/coffee room.
Well, first, the room was nice and comfortable. The bed and pillows were really soft. Breakfast was really nice with waffles cereal, coffee, etc. A lot of hotels, it seems after the pandemic, are skimping on that. Also the pool was actually operational which also you don't see at a lot of hotels these days. The pool was warm and relaxing. All in all, it e a wonderful stay! Cleanliness inside and out. The continental breakfast was spot on, and the folks who ran it were perfect!
