Everything was good but would be nice to have pool and sauna and hot tub open till 10pm not 8pm and if restaurant would be open every night. We were resort owners and these are the things I suggest and would think could improve it.
Comfortable bed. Cleanliness of the room. View from the balcony was great!
I know this property very well because I have a lake cottage nearby. My cottage is not winter proof so I decided I would stay here when I needed to visit Baxter for some business. My stay was in January and it was extremely cold out, -18 below zero. The only problem was that there was almost nobody in the hotel and if I had gotten in trouble somehow or fallen or had a problem, it would’ve been very hard to find anybody to talk to. The restaurant was open and made me some takeout food. But it’s hard for me to give this a superior rating because really there was nothing going on there. It was dead quiet and I was one of probably five people staying in the entire complex.
The outdoor hot tub seemed like it wouldn't be a good idea in the cold climate, but it was my favorite part. Sitting in the hot tub in the snow was amazing!
But the space and everything was really nice would’ve loved to see it be nicer outside though, but it was snowing so it’s all good but still very pretty
