I needed to stop in Wausau on a long trip and opted for this lovely place over the chain hotels. Set in a beautiful wood on the slope of Rib Mountain with more character than any other Wausau hotel offers. More of a well-maintained cabin in the woods than a motel. I booked a larger room this time and it was perfect for a night or two.

Very pretty location. Room was nice but bathroom was small. The balcony was nice, very peaceful.

The location was awesome with a beautiful woodsy environment and a cute little Trail for a walk. The beds were super comfortable and we really enjoyed the little deck for coffee in the morning

It was nice to not be in a chain hotel. The coffee maker and refrigerator in the room were nice. The shower was hot and strong pressure. The bed was very comfortable.
