Located in the village of Woods Hole overlooking the harbor, this Cape Cod motel features an outdoor heated pool and free Wi-Fi. The ferry to Martha’s Vineyard is just 5 minutes’ walk away. Each guest room at the Sands of Time Motor Inn & Harbor House features a cable TV, private bathroom, and small seating area. The air-conditioned rooms are decorated in rich floral patterns with wood furnishings Guests at the Woods Hole Sands of Time can relax poolside on the sun terrace and enjoy the property’s lush gardens. Free on-site parking is available for added convenience. Various dining options, including fresh seafood from Captain Kidd Restaurant and Shuckers World Famous Raw Oyster Bar are within 10 minutes’ walk. Nobska Point beach and lighthouse are 3 minutes' drive away. The start of the Shining Sea Bikeway is opposite the Sands of Time. The Ocean Science Exhibit Center is 7 minutes' walk away. As per our deposit policy - we have charged the first night's stay to hold your room reservation. We offer a full refund (less a $20 cancelation fee) if the reservation is canceled at least 7 days prior
to arrival. If cancelation is within 7 days of arrival it is nonrefundable.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were super comfortable!! The location is near the Ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and shops/restaurants (walking distance). Very quaint and lovely.
Sands of Time is in an enviable location, overlooking the harbor, and within short walking distance of excellent restaurants, coffee shops and a couple of small shops. The weather was a bit rainy part of the time so we didn't use the pool but it looked very clean and inviting.

First, the location was perfect, great view of the harbor from our deck and a five minute walk from downtown Woodshole. The proprietors and their manager, Angie were very nice and extremely accommodating. They were so friendly and made us feel more than welcome. We loved their dog Josie as well. We highly recommend the Sands of Time for your visit to Woodshole, MA.
The motor inn is in a beautiful location, close to downtown Woods Hole. Very walkable to the ferry dock and restaurants, library, museums and other points of interest. The owners are very helpful and easy to talk with. Their coffee is great. They also have a wide variety of teas available to enjoy on cool evenings. The inn is very clean, with a very comfortable bed. You can't beat the location. They have a heated outdoor pool in an attractive setting. Wonderful waking up to such a beautiful view every morning, so be sure to request a room with a view of the water. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
