Scottish Inn is perfectly imperfect. It is better than many other motels. Believe me. It is better than Rodeway Inn big time. It is better than everything that this world is going through. I slept like a goddess Athena and enjoyed my wine. I loved the scent of cigarettes and the marijuana left behind. I liked the flooring. I liked that the old little shower was iron hot. The housekeepers done a very great job cleaning. I am not lying. I will remind myself to leave a fat tip for them next time. I have a very sensitive nose like a dog. I work too much and too hard. It felt like an apartment. I am grateful and it has been a privilege. I liked that the TV never could work or I don’t even have a clue on how to turn any of it on but I have managed to get one channel of Univision and I felt my Latina pride and left on time before checkout very hungry for authentic Indian food so I ended up at McDonald’s very far away.
Staff did their best to accommodate our needs and we were very grateful for the effort. Very clean even though we had to take a smoking room as it was one of two left on first floor, we could pick which one we wanted. Fortunately I carry spray fresh and that helped.
It’s an old place, but the new management has done a lot of fixing up. I was just there for a quick overnight stay, but the place was immaculate and the king size bed was the best mattress I’ve slept on in a long time.
