This was a great last-minute find. AZ, the host, was very friendly and accommodating, and even upgraded me to a room with a private bathroom, which was a nice surprise. I’d definitely book it again on my own next time. It’s nestled in a cute neighborhood in Silver Spring, literally on the same block as Target, which made it easy to grab sundries and things I needed for my trip. Off-street parking was also available for a small extra charge, totally worth it.

The cost was very reasonable. There was a nice living room with a television to watch the news. I could keep some food in the refrigerator. I used the outdoor patio in the evening. It was a short bus ride away to the Silver Springs Metro Station and then onto Washington DC.

Came into the city stranded, but the house location helped a lot. AZ directed me to the stores, bus routes, and even suggestions on visit places in the area. My room had a great view, and I was able to relax despite my traveling situation and concerns.
