Location is very good - 10 min walking distance from vaporetta station if you get by water bus from/to airport. Hotel has a private pier if you use water taxi. Many bars and restaurants around though to get to piazza San Marco or Dodge Palace you need to cross the Grand Canal - there’s no problem with it but takes some time. Rooms are good and spacious enough though I’d say it’s a very very solid good 4* hotel rather than 5 star (in my opinion only). The staff is very nice and welcoming - provided hotel private boat to get to Murano island where we had a private excursion to one of glass manufactures. Bed is very comfortable, room and bathroom are super clean. Didn’t try breakfast so can’t say anything

Hotel doesn't meet 5 star ratio. Honestly it's 4* Superior room is very small. We lived there like in micro-wave oven. The bathroom is only 1,5 sq m. It's absolutely impossible to use small mirror for shaving or for hair drying/styling. Breakfast is very simple. Eggs any style from the kitchen only for money. Laundy service tryed to charge me twice for ironing, they insisted that washing and dry cleaning didn't include ironing. Only senior manager from back office was able to solve the problem.
