The cleanliness of the room, staff was extremely nice and welcoming, pool was relaxing and fun to be at, nice deck to lay out at, close to boardwalk!
Great location. Short walk to the beach and boardwalk but in a quiet area. Staff were lovely. Had pretty much everything we needed. Mini fridge, microwave, pool were a great plus! Nothing fancy. We loved the laid back retro vibe.
Decent Jersey shore motel, 1 block from the beach and from a bunch of restaurants etc. There's a small pool to splash in. Everything in the room was functional (AC, refrigerator, TV, wifi internet access, shower etc) and clean. Staff was incredibly friendly, *all* of them.

My husband and I stayed at the Surfcomber Motel back in 2019 and it was nice back then. This year (2025) we enjoyed the bigger fridge, nicer kitchenette and by replacing the sink with a smaller one it gave the bathroom more space. We enjoyed the refreshing look.
