Very competent and friendly staff helped me in every way possible. Fantastic breakfast with good selection of hot and cold food. Comfortable room. Short walking distance to important museums.
The BBC World TV channel did not function, a very minor disappointment.
Beautifully and lavishly designed interiors, both the lobby and the spa. I wish I had more time just to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.
One or two disappointments with the customer service:
Fresh fruit and tea were included in our spa treatment. Unfortunately, the staff were already asking us about payment beforehand, and served the refreshments in a busy corridor near the reception. It felt like we were no longer welcome, and it was hard to enjoy the last phase of our otherwise wonderful treatment.
Later we ordered room service in our hotel room. There was a significant discrepancy between the prices shown in the menu and the price listed on the bill. We had to have a quite robust argument with the waiter about that, which is surprising and unacceptable in a hotel of this quality.
Замечательное место, современное, уютное, запоминающееся.
Отличное расположение, масса достопримечательностей в шаговой доступности, приличный район. Из аэропорта Шёнефельд на электричке (3.40 евро) минут 40 до Friedrichstraße плюс минут 15 пешком, либо те же 40 минут на такси (45 евро). В целом отель приятный, люди стараются. Запах в номерах приятный. Завтраки отличные!
Шумоизоляция плохая. Персонал на завтраке растерянно неопытный. Официанты отвечают за свой сектор, если попросишь «не своего» официанта подготовить стол, отправят искать своего. Работают медленно. Путают заказы. Просекко якобы дают только по воскресеньям. Номера обшарпанные, стандартные и делюксы не очень большие, около 2-х лет назад жили в полулюксе-он был побольше, то есть начиная с полулюкса уже можно ожидать простора. Белье за 4 ночи проживания в номере стандарт не поменяли ни разу, в номере делюкс-поменяли 1 раз. Новые полотенца через раз испачканные.
