We were treated very well by the entire staff. They were all friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. I was given exceptional treatment by everyone. As a Disabled Veteran, I was treated with exceptional service and kindness from providing me with free valet parking and assistance whenever needed. We were so impressed by our first visit that we plan on using the Gunter hotel as our primary hotel on all future visits to San Antonio.
Such a great location. Close to everything. You can walk to the Riverfront and the Alamo.

Well positioned hotel with lots of historic character. Located very close to the Riverwalk and other shops and amenities. The hotel feels quite historic with heirlooms like the old hotel telephone switchboard in the lobby
