This is a beautiful hotel( think old charm) very well maintained. Nice area outside to enjoy the view. Room was spotless and there was coffee in the lobby.
The location is perfect with the private beach. Our daughters just loved running around there and on the premises with the nice lawn. The staff is so nice, and check-in and check-out were smooth. We loved Chatham, sweet town and not overly touristic. Buying a take-out dinner at the Fish Pier and eating it with the ocean view at the Hawthorne was delightful.
The property is clean. The owners are helpful and accommodating. We were able to switch our room from a king bed to 2 double beds.
If you are someone who appreciates friendly staff, attention to detail, cleanliness, and convenient location to major attractions and views, then this place is a must stay! The only bad part is you will have to eventually leave!
Other than the weather it was a wonderful location. Beautiful view and wonderful owners. Would definitely visit again.
