Very historic: there were historical photos and newspaper articles dating back to the building’s construction. It was unique and the room was large and well thought out. The visitors center was attached which is worth a stop in.
It was so quaint and full of extra amenities. Wine and cheese, cookies and milk, delicious breakfast. Loved our stay.
The large rooms are great. The breakfast spread was yummy every day. The staff is exceptionally nice. The location in town was great, not in the heart of town, but close enough to everything. Ample free parking. Some hotels in this country actually charge for parking! Insane. Complimentary tea and coffee 24/7 is a great idea plus the baked treats each night were a nice touch. Complimentary drinks at the bar (1 each night per guest) is a great idea as well.
They did little things like milk and cookies and wine and cheese. Things you don’t see other places doing anymore.
Loved that is the building used to be an old mill. The room was fantastic and the amenities were great!
