The location of this hotel was great. We had a lot of time to kill and enjoyed sitting in the bar watching the water planes come and go. The room was nice and the lobby was comfortable and interesting. The shuttle to the airport was really convenient. The small restaurant served an excellent breakfast.
I liked the views on the lake (especially the sunset, walked out there nightly) and how close it was to the airport. The shuttle service was needed and welcomed...remember to tip the drivers. The cleanliness of the hotel was also a plus. The on site restaurants are convenient but did not meet my needs.
The rooms are big and clean. Area is pretty can watch float planes land on the lake. Nice that there is two restaurants on property.

The Lakefront Hotel is my absolute #1 choice for where I stay when visiting Anchorage. They are sooo pet friendly. The food in their restaurants is always exceptional. I had to check in at 2am my last visit and they were waiting for me to arrive.
