After visiting over 40 years- every single feature was excellent. The bikes were espeially great- Still one of my favorite hotels in my world travels
Staff is extremely friendly, pleasant and accomodating. Went out of their way to assist with an issue outside the lodging experience (car-releated) that helped us a great deal. Many thanks!
I did not know they offered any breakfast (which it was a pleasant surprise). However, I would advertise it as complementary coffee and pastries, (fruit and yogurt and cold cereal) no warm/hot food or toast. They do offer 24-hour access to complementary refreshments for overnight guests, which is amazing.
Great Location, very homey feel, great deck over looking the golf course, easy walk into town and fishtown. Free use of bikes. GREAT BED. Clean. Quiet.
This was a very charming place. Reminded me of a cross between a traditional lodge and a luxurious boutique hotel. Great wood working throughout which makes for a nice aesthetic. Great restaurant with a wonderful terrace to have your pre dinner cocktails. The view is amazing looking out at Lake Leelenau. Short walk into town and the wonderful beach, perfect little farmers market on Thursday morning just a few steps away. All together a lovely place that I'll go back to.
