The decor and location of the hotel is superb! The Hotel was definitely more run down then you would expect from the way they present themselves. It felt like we were staying in an old friends run down apartment. The building needs a big update and not just a coat of paint because that certainly isn't hiding the obvious imperfections. The finish of the room is in bad condition and the bathroom definitely does not feel like a hotel bathroom. On top of that the staff is not to good at keeping their word. I called the front desk and got no answer so I walked there. When I got there I asked for a toothbrush and was told they didn't have them at the desk but would bring one to my room. So I waited an hour, nothing. Then I called and asked again and they said someone would be right there. I waited another hour then called one final time and said are you going to bring it or not? A few minutes later someone knock on the door. Also the hallway can get super loud and is heard clearly in the room. The cleaning staff will keep you entertained with their constant chatter from the am till late in the afternoon.
