We were visiting in the summer and enjoyed the convenience of many restaurants and the gondola just a short walk away. The other benefit was the pool and slide which were enjoyed by the grandkids for hours.
I loved running into the porcupine on the trail at night. I loved riding the gondola at night!! But the Peaks!!! Wow. We were traveling on the fly, so we only spent one night, but there was a lot to do and never leave the resort. WHEN we return, we will book more days so we can enjoy ALL the Peaks has to offer. Should we tell our favorite spa (Durango Hot Springs) that they are now second favorite? I guess there's room for both.
We regretted not staying longer. Viewfrom room was magnificent. Everything was perfect.
I enjoyed the Resort & Spa amenities and service! We were treated well and look forward to future stays!
This property is in the Mountain Village and is near the ski slopes and golf course. It was fantastic to wake up, go to the basement, put on our boots, and walk out the door to ski. You only have to ski down the hill to catch the Chondola, which connects you to the main ski area. In the evening, getting dinner in the Mountain Village via a short walk or taking the free Gondola to the main Telluride town was nice. We also enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, and steam room. The room was clean, the toiletries great, and the mattress was comfortable. We also appreciated the attentiveness of the valet, who was sure to charge our EV during our stay.
