The room was spacious and the bathroom was super clean. Towels were provided and while I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, the granola bars were readily available. They allowed us to stow our bags for an afternoon flight too!
Wonderfully unique place to stay, but not for everyone. Bathroom was private, but across the hall. All super clean and everyone was very friendly. The building is wonderful with its old wood accents. Breakfast in the great room was plenty, but it is what you make of it as it is self service. There were books, games and guitars for everyone to enjoy.
Great view of downtown across the Monongahela and short drive to the incline, Station Square and downtown.
Friendly Staff & Owners Paul & MaryBeth & Peabody. Lots of choices at breakfast. Paul suggested long term parking @ Station Square while we rode the GAP which saved money - Yes!
This was a perfect stay for GAP Trail riders! We loved so many things . . . it was close to the Trailhead and Pittsburgh sights, had a garage to park our bikes (complete with tools, if needed), the common/eating area was a fun place to chat with our lovely hosts and other bikers, and the history and uniqueness of the building was amazing! Definitely, a must stay place!!!
The self-serve breakfast options were extensive. Due to time constraints, we only took advantage of the grab and go yogurt and fruit, but they had pancakes and other options as well.
