The location is great, the staff is amazing, food was superb

The room was modern and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. We never heard other guests. The location in the French Quarter was perfect for walking everywhere.

There is a destination fee at all of the New Orleans hotels. Effectively this gives you daily use-it-or-lose-it credits for the hotel restaurant and/or bar. This was the first time I had this fully explained to me at a check-in! The restaurant at the hotel was quite good and it was a positive part of the experience. The folks at the front desk responded promptly to a couple of room needs. The location is at the western end of the Quarter and is within easy walking distance to the riverfront, Canal Street transportation, Jackson Square, and the rest of the Quarter. We took cars from the airport and walked everywhere else during our stay here. The rooms are modern and fresh while the hotel still fits in with the Quarter. It's a nice balance.
