The house is very cozy, comfortable, and clean - I felt at home right away. Simba and the Kiwavi team (and the cute dog and cat!) were really friendly and attentive. The garden is beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was very tasty!

I came here after failing to summit Kili and I could not have asked for a better place to rest, heal, and reflect. Everything from the incredible staff to the sweet animals to the delicious breakfast and the tranquil property were absolutely perfect. This is one of my favorite places I've stayed in the world.

The tender care that we received from Simba and his team was purely heart-warming. The property is located in a quiet and serene environment, making our stay exceptionally calming. Bahati (the resident dog), Furaha (the resident cat), and Mr. Pole Pole (the resident turtoise) all made our stay uniquely magical! Thank you, Simba, and your team for this incredibly rewarding stay! Totally recommend it to anyone.

This was the best place I stayed at in my entire time in Tanzania. Moshi was my base for all my time in the country so I always left my big luggage there and came back. It felt like home everytime I came back. During the three weeks I kept coming and going, they didn’t even ask for payment until I decided my final night there. The breakfast is the BEST I had in all of Tanzania as well, they prepare so much food for you and it changes everyday. I stayed there so long that I stayed in almost every room and they were all great. I also felt safe walking in the neighborhood to get to the town, it’s also easy to catch a Tuk Tuk or motorcycle from the main room to the town. Simba is very attentive and helpful also. Highly recommend!

I liked Bahati the dog, he was very friendly. The host provided all the information at the beginning.
