The location was excellent, especially for this price! It was very close to the Old Town and all the things that are worth seeing in Stonetown. I also felt safe in the area. The town house appears to be freshly renovated which was a nice surprise, it's clean and welcoming. Worth recommending for sure, I'll definitely stay there again the next time I'm in Stonetown!
Warere is a simple place, but gets the job done. It is perfect for an affordable place to stay in Stone Town, and is close to the ferry. Breakfast was good and the AC worked well. No frills, but not needed for a simple place.
You need to go through houses with narrow and dark street
We had a good time in Warere Town House. The location is perfect for touring the city by walking. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast on the rooftop. The staff helped us to connect with local guide and taxi drivers. The only inconvenience is that they don't have a visa machine. We would like to come back to Warere Town House for next trip in Stone Town :-)
