It was the best value for the location this time of year leading up to carnival. Everything went smoothly and I was pleased with my stay. I couldn't give it an excellent score for three reasons; 1) mosquitoes in the room every night, even though the windows were closed, 2) dusty under the bed, and 3) difficult to catch rides nearby.
Other than that, I was very comfortable and happy.
We had an extremely warm welcome from Reba and Chris who are a charming couple. Chris even gave us a lift to the food shop when we arrived. Check in and payment were straightforward, the rooms were clean and comfortable with a fridge in each and ice cold Aircon. The roof terrace was great for sitting in the sun or shade (four covered areas had been added since our last visit). Reba drove us to the airport when we were ready to catch our flight the next day which was very useful. We would highly recommend this boutique hotel

The property had so much to offer, from beautiful rooms, to roof deck access of a beautiful view to a full restaurant style kitchen in the lobby.
