Lovely guesthouse with a beautiful courtyard and pool. My only complaint were the shutter doors that did not offer much privacy for the bathroom.
The property is simply gorgeous once you're inside the gate with a drop dead beautiful pool and courtyard nestled around just 4 rooms. The staff were all friendly in every interaction. I appreciated the frequent offers of hot water for tea as there was no kettle in the room. It was great being able to use the washer - luckily, we had our own detergent as there was none. Breakfast was served in a lovely room just off the courtyard.
This property was even more beautiful in person than the photos. It was amazingly clean, and the owner and his nephew were so nice and attentive to us. The owners helped to answer all of our questions, and even offered to coordinate several tours for us. In addition, we made a reservation for them to cook for us one night and it was absolutely delicious. You must try the camel cooked in the traditional barber style. It was a bit chilly when we went and so we didn’t swim in the pool, but it looked absolutely beautiful. In addition, we arrived with a rental car and we were able to park our car inside of a locked area. I read through previous reviews and people mentioned that there was a lot of trash outside. However, I would say this is very normal for Tunisia, and not something specific to this hotel whatsoever. I would definitely return again.
Very friendly people, and I loved the location right beside the oasis. It was still right beside town and easy to walk to everything, but felt like a beautiful retreat. I also loved breakfast beside the pool.
This property is beautiful! the rooms were nice and beds very comfortable. The owner and staff were great and very attentive to our needs. They made us a fabulous dinner and got a beautiful cake for my daughter’s birthday (which we asked for). one of the best meals we had! there is a gate into the oasis that is unlocked during the day and our kids lined going to see the donkeys there. We hated leaving!
