This is a very nice apartment. It is clean, spacious with onsite parking. It is next to the hill for hiking. The owner Jamal is very friendly with good communication. The simple breakfast was included. Highly recommended.

Our room was very comfortable. I had some of my best sleep here. The internet is the best we’ve had in Tunisia so far. The hotel location is quiet, and it is squeaky clean. There is a pretty good restaurant a short walk from the hotel.

Great accommodation in Matmata and very attentive and kind host. Perfect stop to see the Berber troglodyte houses around. I highly recommend this guesthouse!

The host was exceedingly charming and welcoming. I appreciated his kindly giving us a tour of the property. We were lucky that there was no one else staying so we had far more space than we would have had otherwise with exclusive use of the sitting room, kitchen, dining room, and terrace overlooking all of Matmata. The breakfast was enough for 6 with a wide selection of juices, fruit, a fresh baguette, butter and jams, cheeses, and coffee and warm milk in carafes! The Internet connection was very fast - hooray! We were able to check in extremely easily which was a relief for my husband. The price was extraordinarily reasonable if not dirt cheap coming from the United States!
