Some of the residents seemed to be enjoying themselves at the bar when the owner cranked up the music, sometimes creating a friendly atmosphere, and I now have a vastly improved knowledge of Billy Ocean's "Red Light Spells Danger". Bed ok. No aircon, poor ventilation. Security light kept flashing on and off outside all night. Room beside the laundry so very noisy machines at time. "balcony" = 1 square metres at ground level with several storeys on all sides, so in deep shade all the time, beside the laundry, with aircon units sticking into it. Shower tray leaked. Shower handle attachment broken. Water sometimes cold. Breakfast was standard turkish, but low quality. Coffee was awful - instant coffee. Some staff seemed to be working ridiculous hours (7am to 1am?!) and looked tired and miserable. Some of the geriatric chain smoking clientele could be a bit noisy when they got up in the small hours for a smoke and to hack their lungs out. I saw the food the al inclusive people had - mainly british stodge rather than anything turkish?!
