Hotel Domus is on a quiet street with cafes in the heart of Podil neighborhood. They have free private parking with security cameras (unheard of in Kyiv). Rooms have air conditioning, refrigerator, and a desk. The shower has the best water pressure in all of Ukraine and plenty of hot water. The staff were especially nice and helpful and went out of their way to help me. I arrived in a big truck and they put cones out to reserve parking for me on the street in front of the hotel. I will stay here every time I come to Kyiv. My favorite hotel.
Hotel is at perfect location in Podil in Kyiv. Right next to the hotel is a beautiful park. The room was clean. I especially liked the friendly staff.
Despite the war situation (August 2023), the location was quiet and I felt maximally safe.
The hotel and location exceeded my expectations. I will gladly book this hotel again and again. You can definitely recommend it to your friends.
This hotel has four floors, a lift and stairs, but most importantly, there is a warm underground shelter with few entrances. If you need to use a shelter, you can do it straight from reception. It means you needn't go outside at all to be safe. If the building is damaged, you will have a way to escape by using the outside door. This area is safe in general, I'm a tiny woman, but I was walking on the streets by myself around midnight without fear.
I've enjoyed fresh new towels, sleepers, gel/shampoo/soap/cotton buds, and cotton discs/ shower hat/ brush for clothes/set for shoos, etc. All of it was branded in nice one use packages.
It was warm and cozy there.
