Coconut Grove Beachfront Cottages offers beachfront accommodations in Matei on Taveuni Island. Each cottage has a private sun terrace and the resort offers massages in a private beach bure. Each cottage is fitted with a private bathroom and some feature outdoor showers. Guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant, on their private veranda or down on the beach. There is a range of activities available including snorkeling (right off the beach) ,scuba diving, kayaking, cycling, and fishing. Transfers to and from Matei Airport are included.

The staff are excellent. Sarah, Biu, and Flori were so kind and helpful. Having the bure with A/C was a must for being there during the hot season. The food was incredible. Great snorkeling off the beach out at the little islands
The food was excellent - we had all our meals there and they were all delicious! The staff are all amazing people and the views were to die for! The rooms were comfortable and our view from the windows and patio was just awesome.
The service and the friendliness of the staff were fantastic. It is a small boutique place so only a few guests. They could organise any day plans for us like a trip to the falls and snorkeling. It is close to the airport and only a short walk to the supermarket and local homemade ice cream store. You can snorkel close to the accommodation and also have massages on site. Try the vegetarian ravioli it was amazing at the in-house restaurant.
What can I say, heaven on Taveuni. The sweetest, most wonderful staff anywhere. The view, wow. The comfortable bure. The beach. You don’t need to even consider someplace else. There are only three bures. Count yourself fortunate if you get to stay here.
