The history and location of the hotel is fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.

Everything. Really, I can not imagine a better hotel than this one. Located in a perfect position (we could walk to central Helsinki and get there just in a few minutes), beautiful premises (room corridors, the renovations made a miracle considering this was an old prison), excellent breakfast and dinner, and value (dinner was included in the rate, making this hotel quite cheap). Great staff. Really, it could not be better.
