Excellent location, comfortable bed, easy to access, and the apartment had everything you would need. All instructions were clear. Friendly host.
Located about 1 km from center. Plenty of free parking nearby. Shops in the vicinity.
Kitchen is very well equipped.
Nice flat in a great quiet location (5 mins walk from the dock, 15 minutes from the train station). Walking distance to pretty much everything in Savonlinna e.g. 20 mins to castle, 5 mins to shops). Flat is on 2nd floor with a balcony facing the rear. Wasn't sure about the shower at first but everything worked fine. Good small kitchen and diner. Like the way 2 keys were left for us (sometimes people only leave one). Organisation was good. If you visit, do walk to the Casino island nature reserve - just over 2 walkways over the lake from the station. And have lunch at Savonlinna castle (they really make this difficult to find but just pay to enter the castle and there is a cafe/restaurant at the back of the gift shop).
