The area was clean, the staff were good, communication was good, and they were always there to help.
I had a very pleasant stay at Oivanki. The accomodation was located in a very spacious and calm area, on the edge of a lake. From the back terrace I saw some reindeer grazing. The room was basic, and I had to put the sheets on the bed myself, but that didn't bother me at all. I can imagine it can get quite busy here when groups of school children come to visit, but as it was, I was one of only two guests in the building at the moment, and everything was very quiet. Breakfast was served in the main building and included some rice porridge, a selection of cereals and muesli and some bread and salad. Just what I needed. The restaurant was closed on saturday, so if you're planning to prepare something yourself, it's best to stock up in Kuusamo before you come here. There are no shops or restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

De rust en de stilte waren subliem. Communicatie met het beheer verliep zeer vlot.
De gemeenschappelijke ruimtes zijn bijzonder ruim en uitstekend ingericht met alle mogelijke voorzieningen. Heel modern en ongelooflijk proper en goed onderhouden. Hier kan je makkelijk voor langere tijd verblijven.
