What an amazing apartment! It was spacious and very cool in what turned out to be a very hot week! The apartment is located in a gorgeous pedestrianised street in the town of Auray with excellent shops, restaurants and weekly market a walk away. We found parking faily easily in a nearby free car park. The nearby port of Saint-Goustan was also great and again a short walk away. The host were also really helpful, even baking us a local Breton speciality one evening. There are some great beaches nearby at Carnac and we also recommend a visit to Larmor-Bader, a beautiful little boating area from which you can visit some caves ( but note - you need to book 2 days in advance online). We travelled with two older teens and had a great time.
A really charming place for a holiday. On a beautiful street in the heart of Auray. Unique, historic old building - loved the turret bedroom. Lovely courtyard and sunny garden. Auray is such a fabulous place for a holiday and works well if you want to use public transport rather than drive. Right on the GR34, easy bus journey to the coast. A great location for a family holiday with teenagers.
